Tuesday Table Talk
Tuesday Table Talk (TTT) meets every Tuesday from 7:00am to 8:30am in Fellowship Hall. It is open to any person interested in engaging in dialog with others who are open to expansive spiritual thinking. We do this over coffee and pastries in an atmosphere of camaraderie, acceptance, and appreciation for differing perspectives. TTT has been described as a “venue to stretch our faith and flesh out our beliefs in a safe atmosphere.” Conversation generally translates into introspection and regeneration, motivating participants to want to move beyond their self-imposed boundaries. Discussion topics may be selected in advance, but more likely will come from within the group at each gathering.
We observe the following Faith Sharing guidelines:
1. We listen deeply whenever someone else is speaking.
2. We speak only for ourselves about our beliefs, feelings and responses.
3. We respect and receive what others offer, never criticizing or condemning.
4. We are honest.
5. We are always free to remain silent if we wish.
6. We never give advice.
7. We hold the content of personal sharing as sacred and absolutely confidential.
8. We are very careful to share speaking time so that one person does not monopolize the allotted time.
