Small Groups

Koinonia is what we will call our small groups.  Koinonia is a time of fellowship.  We will fellowship by sharing a meal together. Koinonia small groups is NOT a bible study. Koinonia small groups IS about sharing a meal in someone’s home, to bring us even  closer together in community with one another.  Koinonia, is for every age and gender, and it is for EVERYONE! We meet on the fourth Sunday of each month from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the various host homes.

Upcoming Kononia date:

We will meet at Whole Foods eating area in Green Hills. The plan is to meet once a month and cover topics of interests related to forming and maintaining friendships and sharing our spiritual journeys. All women who are interested in participating are also encouraged to invite a friend who may or may not have a church affiliation but would like to take part in this monthly gathering. We will be studying the book, “Friendships Just Don’t Happen: The Guide to Creating a Meaningful Circle of Friends” by Shasta Nelson. You can obtain a copy through Amazon either by paperback or Kindle edition. However, you do not have to have to book read to attend our gathering. Contact Carrie Friddell at or 615-390-3207 if you are interested and for more information. Thanks!

Spiritual Conversations

Each 2nd and 4th Thursday at 7:00 p.m., at the home of Patty and Steve Tippens. We are an intimate gathering of persons interested in encouraging each other along our respective spiritual paths, recognizing that conformity in thinking or belief is not a goal or expectation, with only the example and teaching of Jesus as our guide for holistic living. No question or insight is out-of-bounds. We listen, we express, we learn, we grow, each in our own way, providing a spiritual safety zone. Topics may be decided in advance or determined contemporaneously. If such an experience interests you, we invite you to join us. Just let us know you’re coming. We’ll have a comfy chair and at least one cookie for you.  Email:
